Extended Course and happy new year!! 2009!!

Happy new year 

and hope everyone is well despite the massive recession/credit crunch crisis and it's effecting my bloody wages as well!! CRAP!! There's a bloody war in Gaza Strip... The world is never a happy and peaceful place.

Recently I've extended my running course to roughly 7.2km almost 4.5 miles and the best time I've got so far is 39:06 minutes. Usually my time is 40 minutes and something seconds... Worst time is 43 minutes and something seconds...

What did I do for this winter... I didn't do much for the christmas, went to Nagasaki Elementary school's Bonenkai (End of the year party), date with Maiko in Ikebukuro, Planetarium in Sunshine City, drinking with Martin and other guys, drinking with Sano sensei and Shimizu sensei. on new year's eve my computer teacher Pip came to visit Tokyo for couple days so that was cool. He brought his girl friend called Sinead. They went around New Zealand and Hong Kong. Went to Shinjuku and Harajuku's Meiji Jingu. 

On New Years Day I did nothing just sleeping and next day it was me 30th Birthday!! Went to Tsurumaki Onsen and went to the SPA. It was my very first time and rather bizarre seeing these Japanese asses and cocks!! Weird baths... Most weird one was the electric bath and you really do feel the electricity!! SHOCK!! I'm not so tough in sauna... Too hot!! On the way home had some few plates of belt conveyored sushi!! 

On 3rd I hooked up with Sano sensei and Toda san from the wood carving class. We met in Asakusa. One of the most famous tourist spot in Tokyo and well packed!! Full of people... We went to posh blowfish restaurant and I'

ve had blowfish for the first time. Nice fish. It's very expensive though. Then went to Shinjuku and Ikebukuro... Then played football at the park and that.

Now I'm doing some graphic work and playing the NES game called Star Tropics. Great game by Nintendo and never released in Japan!! Nintendo always makes great games. Like Capcom, Konami, Taito, Namco, Sansoft etc.

Breaking the record!

My personal best time has been bettered again I managed to improve my time by 27minutes and 43seconds!! 27:43! Hope to improve more!

My running time is getting better so I hope to break the 28th minutes barrier! I am happy to see the England beating the Germany in Berlin. I was rather impressed with them not having almost no 1st choice players i.e. Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney, Ferdinand etc. and we are still capable of beating Germans comfortably 2-1 away win. Capello is doing fine job and I really do hope he will end our 42 years of hurt and dream of winning the 2nd WORLD CUP in South Africa! Well done to Upson and Terry! Football encourages me to keep fit! COME ON ENGLAND!!
